Triangle dives
You can enjoy a dive on the Triangle Dive site, which is located in the northern part of Romblon. The dive site is in a triangle shape with its mouth facing north, hence its name. It is also close to shore and has a depth of 30 meters (100 feet) at the top and 20 meters (65 feet) at the bottom. This makes it perfect for both beginners and experienced divers alike!
Fish Sanctuary dive site
Located in barangay (village) Poblacion, Romblon, Fish Sanctuary dive site is a sheltered reef that’s home to a variety of sea creatures. The site features two submerged pinnacles and several rocky patches covered with soft corals, sponges and gorgonians. You’ll also see schools of sweetlips and wrasses swimming through the lagoon. The best time to dive here is from January to June when visibility is at its peak (we’re talking up to 35m here).
Once you arrive at Fish Sanctuary dive site after making your way through clear waters en route from Romblon town’s port area via an hour-long ferry ride, you’ll be met by friendly locals who will guide you through what this place has to offer underwater. Eagle point dive site
Eagle Point is a great dive site for beginners and snorkelers. It is shallow at about 15m, making it easy to see marine life from the surface. You will be able to see a variety of fish including lionfish and clownfish, as well as sea turtles and reef sharks. This dive site also has some beautiful coral formations that make for great photo opportunities!
Fishbowl dive site
With the Fishbowl dive site, you can experience all of these. This is one of the sites where snorkeling and swimming are both allowed. You can enjoy being up close with a variety of fish, including parrotfish, Napoleon wrasse and sergeant major fish. The Fishbowl also serves as a great place to learn to dive or scuba dive because you will be able to get plenty of practice at exploring the underwater world before taking your first plunge into deep water.
Jata beach dive site
The Jata beach dive site is a good dive for beginners, snorkelers and underwater photographers. It’s also a great place to train your underwater videography skills, with its shallow depth of 3-5 meters and clear water.
The site can be accessed through the central part of Romblon Island; it’s near Tablas town in Banton municipality on Tablas Island, one of Romblon’s five islands.

You can dive in Romblon. There are many good diving spots, some of them far from the main land but others close to the shore. In fact, Romblon is one of the few places in the Philippines where you can do shore diving!
Diving is a great way to explore the underwater world and see marine life. Diving can be done from shore or from a boat but not everyone has time for this kind of adventure so we recommend that you go with an experienced divemaster who will take you on his boat if possible (or at least take you by car).
